Alright, I missed posting yesterday, unfortunately. I have small kiddos which sometimes makes posting a challenge… and I straight up just forgot.
But I’m just doubling up today, so it’s fine.
December 19th
O Root of Jesse, Which standest for an ensign of the people, before Whom kings shall keep silence, Whom the Gentiles shall beseech: come and deliver us and tarry not.
December 20th
O Key of David, and Scepter of the house of Israel, that openest and no man shutteth, and shuttest and no man openeth:: come and bring the prisoner forth from the prison-house, and him that sitteth in darkness and in the shadow of death.
Alrighty, folks, that’s all for today, but tomorrow I’m going to post a little Christmas story (even though it’s not quite Christmas yet 😉 ) in addition to the antiphon. It’s a pretty one and I’m excited to share it!
P.S. Is anyone else enjoying Maria De Lallo’s antiphon illustrations as much as I am?
God Bless,
Amy
